I became interested in breeding Schnoodles a few years ago and contacted Shelbo Schnoodles to help guide the way. Shelly has been instrumental in getting me started.
We breed purebred miniature schnauzers with a large toy poodle. We have had a several litters and they were wonderful. Our colors included white, apricot, light salt & pepper, and dark salt & pepper, black, black and white. We hope to add another colored male (possibly a parti colored or a red) to our program in a summer of 2004.
Our puppies are raised in a VERY loving enviroment. We take great pride in the excellent care we give our babies. They are held and loved by children and are exposed to cats, hamsters..etc. We begin housebreaking our puppies at 4-5 weeks old and it continues until they leave our home. All puppies are guaranteed to be free of any congenital or inherited diseases for 2 years. All puppies will have their dew claws removed and tails docked. They will be wormed and have their first vaccinations before leaving for their forever homes.
We are very particular about who gets our puppies, please read the adoption information link below to find out how to adopt a Northeast Schnoodle. We have references available.
Why breed Schnoodles? I have been asked this many times in the past years. I breed Schnoodles because I believe that the combination of the Schnauzer and Poodle makes an excellent pet. They are sturdier then the Poodle yet have softer fur then the Schnauzer. They do not shed, making them and excellent choice for people with allergies. They are small enough to take on vacations or just to the ball game on a Saturday afternoon. But big enough that you can play with them. Both parent breeds are highly intelligent therefore the breed is equally intelligent. Please don't make a mistake, these dogs are very smart but still need to be trained to obey as do ALL puppies. They are very willing to please.
